The Tough Mudder Classic Los Angeles was held in San Bernardino. It is about an hour and a half east of downtown Los Angeles. It is at the base of some mountains, which also includes several hills. The hills are a large part of the course.
The course is just northwest of California State University, San Bernardino. Once we parked nearby and walked to the arched entrance, we took several photos to capture our final moments of being clean. After that, we checked in our back packs on tables under tents and headed to the starting line.
At the starting line, there was an MC who did a pep rally for all the Tough Mudders. He was entertaining and said some funny statements. Just before the event began, a drone flew up into the sky to record the athletes. Finally, we were allowed to begin!
